Public art: project for the dda of West Palm Beach
TROJAN ROCKING HORSE project -2023
Trojan Rocking Horse, West Palm Beach 2023
The Trojan Rocking Horse is a project of eight Dream mailboxes all around the city. This is a Project of Marco Casagrande, Architect-Artist from Finland. This was my first Public Art project for the City of West Palm Beach. Thank you Casagrande Laboratory, DDA and the City of West Palm Beach for believing in my work and letting me part of this beautiful dream. Here, I was commisioned to crochet, knit, wrap, work around the horses, but only using yarn. I worked during 5 days in different locations throughout the city, mostly public spaces. It was very interesting to see how everyone related to the project.
